Half year 2008 Adsense Earning: USD $1242.89

Been with Google Adsense for more than a year. Slowly learn the technique, and wish to share with all of you the tips that I have learned. So far, the earning is not really great, but at least is some extra pocket money. And here is the earning of the second half last year 2008.

The break down of the monthly earning is as follows, and you can see Olympic and Christmas did affect the earning a little bit:

June 2008: USD $271.92
July 2008: USD $232.39
Aug 2008: USD $183.80 (due to Olympic 2008)
Sept 2008: USD $218.23
Oct 2008: USD $195.81
Nov 2008: USD $140.77
Dec 2008: USD $126.49 (due to Christmas festival)

June to Dec 2008 (7 months) Total Adsense Earning:
USD $1242.89


June 2008: USD $271.92 (SGD $368.53)
July 2008: USD $232.39 (SGD $329.30)
Aug 2008: USD $183.80 (SGD $260.02)
Sept 2008: USD $218.23 (Check missing!!)
Oct 2008: USD $195.81 (SGD $296.10)
Nov 2008: USD $140.77 (SGD $203.37)
Dec 2008: USD $126.49 (SGD 189.99)
I will share with you some tips that I have been using, and some important statistic later on.

Compare to my website, your blog makes alot of money. Anyway, I wonder why the earning decreases so much.

I suspect due to the financial crisis. The CTR maintained, and the traffic too. But somehow the earning earned per click is much less in recent months compared than before. That is the only explaination I can imagine.
